Let's get into number three on the list: Shakedex marketplace. As you saw in previous videos, Shakedex is everywhere.

Shakedex is now rebuilt on shakedex.org by Skyinclude. The original .com domain expired and was squatted, so we're using the .org version. You can check it out and view the documentation.

This is another fork of Shakedex and the first marketplace on the new and improved version at market.learnhns.com. Everything is open source - if you want to run your own instance or make improvements, the code is available.

Recent changes focus on buy-now pricing, listings, and the confirmation flow. Shakedex.org is designed as a marketplace of marketplaces.

On the homepage you can browse listings with filters for status: pending, available, and sold. The new system shows pending listings so users can get excited about upcoming names (they still require confirmation and block waits).

You can view details, buy directly with Bob Wallet (deep linking supported), or use other options. Additional features include watch lists with renewal email alerts, sales history, and proof uploads.

Proofs can be generated via command line with HSD and uploaded to list names. This allows decentralized verification of ownership and transfers.

The platform is a work in progress. We're actively fixing bugs and improving UX. Community feedback and contributions are highly appreciated.

You can buy names like "doublebacon" by clicking buy now, which prompts your wallet. Transactions typically settle in approximately two days (288 blocks).

This is part of ongoing efforts to improve the Handshake ecosystem. Try it out, report bugs, and help build the open internet.
